Alloy dash rings

Well, ive finally decided to make a move on making some dash rings up for 2nd gens.


basically the aim of this thread is to see how many 2nd gen owners would be interessted in buying a set of these for their ride.

the rings will be made from machine grade aluminium, hand turned on a lathe to the correct diameters.

once i have made the prototype for my car i will post pictures of them so everyone can get a glimpse of what they look like.

im unsure of what the actual cost of each set will be as yet but im thinking no more than $50. the aluminium needed to make these is about 120mm diameter and costs quite a bit. unfortunately ive had trouble finding a place that sells this diamter in short lengths so it may mean ill need to buy a peice 300mm long.

if anyone is interessted in this little mod, please let me know asap.

also: i may be able to make 3rd gen rings aswell, its just that i dont have the cluster dimensions at hand Atm.

well its not really "stealing" considering im not doing it for 3rd gens atm.
if he has any for a 2nd gen ill be the first to buy some coz itll save me the headache!

nah i was just joking, i didnt mean it that way.

sounds like a good idea to do them for second gens too, good to have some many people doing somthing to help others.

yeah i dont know about you, but being a owner of two 2nd gens, i get frustrated when i cant find ANY aftermarket mods on the shelf!
